The Breckenridge Recreation Center is open again after our annual week-long closure! Come see our newly cleaned facility and pick up a new fitness schedule to see our fall classes.

Recreation Center Annual Closure October 10-16

Annual maintenance and cleaning will take place during this time; The Recreation Center will reopen on Monday, October 17

As a reminder for our valued members and guests, the Breckenridge Recreation Center will be closed for annual maintenance and cleaning from Monday, October 10 through Sunday, October 16.

The entire Recreation Center facility will be closed during this time. The gymnasium will be closed from October 6 until October 16. Both the gymnasium and the rest of the facility will fully reopen to the public on Monday, October 17 at 6am.

Regularly-scheduled drop-in fitness classes and session-based programs at the Recreation Center will not take place during closure week. During closure week ONLY, Breckenridge Recreation Center memberships and punch passes will be honored at the Silverthorne Recreation Center.

The BMC Afterschool Program will take place at Carter Park on Monday, October 6 until Friday, October 14. All other afterschool programs are cancelled for the week. Participants in the BMC After School programs will still line up at their school in the designated Rec Center bus line. Breckenridge Elementary students will be checked in with a staff member and will then walk to Carter Park with Rec Staff. Upper Blue Elementary students will board the UB-B school bus or walk to the Rec Center as regularly scheduled. Upon arriving to the Rec Center, Rec staff will transport participants on the Rec Center buses to Carter Park. Frisco students will be picked up by a Rec Center bus as usual. Parents MUST pick up children at CARTER PARK no later than 6pm. Carter Park is located at the south end of High Street and adjacent to Breckenridge Elementary School.
